One of the oldest towns in the world is Split (Spalato), historical city 1700-years old and the only town with great Palace of Emperor Diocletian. City is situated on the shore of the Adriatic Sea Mediterranean environment .It’s history goes even back from 2century B.C. with arrival of Greeks and later Romans the city developed in the most important place in Croatia and wider, known route all over the Europe for merchants including Asia. Very vivid people lived and still are living here. During the centuries there were many state and local wars because of the citiys great position (main harbour) and important routs combining every centre in the entire accent world. Protector of Split is Saint Domingo(celebration starts every may 7_th and it lasts seven days).meet towns history, monuments from accent times still preserved in great condition until today, in the centre of the palace there is a platform called Peristil where during the summer shows take place ,opera Aida is preformed and many folklores events. Next to Peristil is san Domingo Cathedral. From Peristil down the stairs there is famous basement where souvenirs are on sale and exit takes to Riva. Riva is resting place with cafes ,restaurants, chairs under the palm trees ,it’s also place if you want to take a walk in the sun .Famous beach is Bacvice(sand beach) that provides water sports floating castles for children ,sailing in the canoe, skating on the water with parachutes ,not to worry you won’t dehydrate or starve while you enjoy ,because the big place with restaurants, coctel bars, jims ,ice cream house is situated right next to the beach, like a part of it. The best thing is that during the night you don’t need to go to find fun, in the same place there are night clubs ,discos, every summer there are party’s electro music right on the beach, people dance in the sea and it lasts for days. Take a breath of fresh air ,go on Marian(the hill not far from the centre of the city) it’s called’’ the green lungs of the Town Split ‘’.Marian is a great place for long walks ,full of trees ,of course you can take a swim there also, there are restaurants, playground for kids, tennis courts ,city zoo, if you wish you can rent a bike (car traffic is forbidden ) etc.
Come & learn city’s long history, see it’s monuments of great accent world importance, chek out museums from world famous artists and sculptures and enjoy in shows, various of sports, swim in the crystal clean sea, meet lovely vivid people ,go to fairs ,experience fun from roman accent times shows and modern party events. The most beautiful city in Europe,with rich historical and cultural value.Place you all want to visit,need to visit.Town old 2000 years,only town with Palace of empirator Diocletian,the most famous of all thje times,not crazy as Neron,but great arhiteture ,historical valiu,no city in the whole whide world has that.i am a destination manager I could guide trough everything ,learn a lot.
